Willenberg, Mary Louise (Campbell) was 90 years old when she passed away on October 11, 2014 in Phoenix, with her daughters by her side. Mary was born on May 21st, 1924 in Wilmington, California, to Claude and Nora Josephine Campbell. They moved to Phoenix in 1935. She graduated from Phoenix Union High School and then attended Good Samaritan School of Nursing from 1942 to 1945, where she obtained her nursing degree. Willenberg, Mary Louise (Campbell) was 90 years old when she passed away on October 11, 2014 in Phoenix, with her daughters by her side. Mary was born on May 21st, 1924 in Wilmington, California, to Claude and Nora Josephine Campbell. They moved to Phoenix in 1935. She graduated from Phoenix Union High School and then attended Good Samaritan School of Nursing from 1942 to 1945, where she obtained her nursing degree. In 1944, while in her senior year of nursing school, she married Richard Willenberg and they had four children. For more than twenty years she worked for United Blood Services and then worked for Community Hospital of Phoenix. She loved to go fishing, watch baseball, garden, sew and crochet. She loved spending time with her children, especially her grandchildren. Her sense of humor was one of her greatest gifts. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard Willenberg, son Michael Willenberg, sister Lavina Beck, and son-in-law Don "Rocky" Bolin. She is survived by her daughters Linda Bolin, Leslie Burton, and Lori Dillon (William); nephew Lonnie Robnett, niece Claudia Franklin, grandchildren Kerry (Joe), Stacy (Anthony), Laura (Joey), Lance (Jana), Lucas (Jaimee), Crystal, Spencer, 18 great grand children, and her beloved dog, Maggie. She will be remembered for being an awesome Mom and Grandma and for her love, kindness and ability to make us laugh. Services will be held at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary on Saturday October 18. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM with Funeral services to follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at West Resthaven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
